November, 2008: “Queen Minnie” debuted at the Disneyland resort. ORIGINAL SOLD; limited edition giclées available in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, or through Disney Delivears 1-800-362-4533.
October 18, 2008: Maggie participated in an exhibition to benefit MusicCares, a non-profit organization that offers financial help to musicians in need. The gallery is in downtown Los Angeles.
August, 2008: The curator from the Office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa invited Parr to exhibit six pieces from the “Refining Spirit” series in the Mayor’s Gallery in City Hall. The paintings are on loan through 2009. Contact Maggie if you would like to set up an appointment to view the paintings at City Hall.

July, 2008: One of Parr’s paintings from the “Refining Spirits” series was on display in a group show at Los Angeles International Airport, at Terminal 1 (Southwest Airlines).
July, 2008: “Partners at Magic Hour” debuted at Walt Disney World. Limited edition of giclees now available through WDW. June 22, 2008: Disneyland’s Enchanted Tiki Adventure turned 45 this year, and Maggie joined other Disneyland artists at a signing event. May 1, 2008: Maggie designed two murals for the new Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. Elkus-Manfredi in Boston was the Design Architect of record; Caruso Affiliated is the developer/owner. Warner Brothers Scenic painted the final murals, which Maggie art directed. Visit http://www.americanaatbrand.com/ for more information. February 23, 2008: As part of the 55th anniversary of Peter Pan, Maggie joined other Disneyland artists at a signing event, with her new Tinkerbell painting. ORIGINAL SOLD.


December 15, 2007: Maggie had her first signing event at Walt Disney World at Downtown Disney for the Royal Carousel series.

May 20 , 2007: Three new oil paintings debuted at the Disney Gallery as part of the “Inspired by Disneyland” and “Art of Imagineering” show: “Duck with a Pearl Earring” and “Goofy Cavalier” in the classics series; and “Partners in a Dream,” a portrait of Disneyland’s statue of Walt and Mickey.
